Medal Of Honor

Awarded to any 1SFOD-D Member, by the Delta Commander, for going above and beyond the call of duty. This is the UNIT's highest honor.



  1SFOD-D Cross

This medal is awarded for showing unprecedented gallantry and honor in battle undeserving of the Medal Of Honor.



 1SFOD-D Distinguished Service Medal

Awarded to any 1SFOD-D member who, while serving in any capacity of 1SFOD-D, distinguish themselves by exceptionally meritorious service to the Teams in a duty of great responsibility. Exceptional performance of duty must be clearly above that normally expected, and contributes to the success of a major command or project.



Silver Star

This medal is awarded for showing outstanding merit and bravery in battle. You must have Three months of active service to receive this medal. A peer or Commanding Officer must nominate this medal. The Commanding Officer and Delta Commander must then approve it. If the medal was nominated by the Commanding Officer, his Commanding Officer must approve it.

Legion Of Merit

This medal is awarded for exceptionally meritorious conduct in performance of outstanding service or achievements. Authority to award the medal is reserved for the Delta Commander

There are 3 degrees of the medal awarded:
Commander: Awarded to a Lt General or higher, this award is a neck award
Officer: Awarded to a Flag Grade Officer, or a Colonel for service or assignments normally held by a Flag Grade Officer
Legionnaire: Awarded to those not listed above

Bronze Star

The Bronze Star is awarded for merit in battle. A peer or Commanding Officer must nominate this medal.

Purple Heart

Awarded for making a great sacrifice for the team.



Meritorious Service Medal

The Meritorious Service Medal is awarded to members who are loyal to 1SFOD-D for a minimum of Six months or more. They must be active frequently and follow all of the 1SFOD-D rules and regulations.



Victory Medal

Awarded to members of the chain of command for winning a war or campaign.



Good Conduct Medal

Awarded for each 6 months of exemplary behavior, efficiency and fidelity in active 1SFOD-D service.



Expeditionary Medal

Awarded to any 1SFOD-D member for engaging in an armed operation or campaign such as a war.




Joint Service Medal

Awarded to a member of 1SFOD-D for assisting in joint operations with other groups.



Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal

Awarded to any 1SFOD-D member who volunteers his time to help better his community. This medal is awarded for service outside of the UNIT.

"Combat V"
 
Ribbon Device worn alongside a medal to denote valor or heroism in combat service. Only 1 V device may be worn on each award.
 

 
 
 
 Service Stars:
 
Bronze 3/16 inch service stars may be awarded to denote subsequent awards or period of service. A Silver 3/16 inch service star is worn in lieu of 5 Bronze Service Stars.
